Nebraska Baseball: Every Game To Be Broadcast

Great news today for Husker baseball fans - every game of the 2008 season will be broadcast across the Husker Sports Network. That includes live streaming from Huskers.com for those of us out-of-staters who still want to follow Nebraska Cornhuskers baseball.

This is the first season that every game will be broadcast. Nebraska is the only Big 12 school with their own baseball radio network, and one of very few around the nation. That's the "Power of Red" at work!

Along with the games, Coach Mike Anderson's weekly radio show will be broadcast. The show will be on Monday nights, 7-8 pm (central), and will begin March 17th, five days before the Huskers travel to Stanford for a four-game series.

Jim Rose is gone this season, replaced by Greg Sharpe. Lane Grindle will join him, and Adrian Fiala will assist. I liked Jim Rose as a baseball play-by-play guy, but I'll look forward to the change.
