USC looked like the #1 team against Nebraska Saturday night, their offensive line blowing crater-sized holes in Nebraska's defense. LSU and Oklahoma are evenly matched with them, so the top three remains interchangeable and could possibly include Florida.
I watched the Gators play for a while against Tennessee, nice looking football team. Also watched Wisconsin and Penn State and concluded that both of these teams would be in trouble if they bothered to play someone with depth. Still, they stay highly ranked because no one else really made that big an impression on me. Maybe Ohio State should move up further, after beating Washington on the road and scoring 33 in the process. That's pretty impressive - what do you think?
UCLA didn't just look bad, they looked horrid, so they drop out. Given that, should Nebraska still be ranked? What about Arkansas? Washington? Louisville?
Big 12 teams Missouri and Texas Tech move up into the poll.
