Women Beat Kansas State

The Husker women's basketball team beat Kansas State Wednesday night, 62-55. The win puts them in a three-way tie for first in the Big 12 with Oklahoma and Texas A&M. Given that Oklahoma and Texas A&M will play Saturday, the tie won't last long.

From Huskers.com:

With the win, Nebraska matched the best 24-game start in school history by improving to 20-4 on the year, while also matching the Huskers' best conference start in school history at 8-2. The 2006-07 Huskers matched the records produced by the 1987-88 NU squad, which is the only Nebraska team to win a conference title.
In other words, the women are putting together a great season. Given our upcoming schedule, we have a great shot at a Big 12 regular season title. Nebraska's next game up is a road game at Colorado this Saturday.
