Big 12 Baseball Week Review (Week ending Sunday, Feb. 18th)

Baylor 4-0 Tue., Feb. 13 --- Baylor 10, Texas State 4
Fri., Feb. 16 --- Baylor 11, Stephen F. Austin 1
Sat., Feb. 17 --- Baylor 5, Stephen F. Austin 3
Sun., Feb. 18 --- Baylor 10 Stephen F. Austin 2

Baylor swept Stephen F. Austin making it eleven in a row at Baylor Ballpark. Baylor is now 24-0 against SFA.
Baylor continues its nine-game home stand Tuesday, hosting Texas-San Antonio.

Kansas 0-0 NDSU Series Postponed

Kansas' series with North Dakota State has been postponed due to inclement weather. The series is scheduled to play Monday through Wednesday.

Sat., Feb. 17 --- Kansas State 6, Centenary 5

Sun., Feb. 18 --- Centenary, 4 Kansas State 1

Kansas State started their season this week, playing Penn State and Centenary in Shreveport, La. KSU will be in Tampa, Florida next Friday playing Seton Hall.

Missouri 2-2 Thu., Feb. 15 --- Arizona State 7, Missouri 1
Fri., Feb. 16 --- Missouri 3, Arizona State 2
Sat., Feb. 17 --- Missouri 10, Gonzaga 3
Sun., Feb. 18 --- Oregon State 9, Missouri 2

Mizzou played in the Coca Cola Classic in Surprise, Arizona over the weekend. The Tigers had four players named to the Coca-Cola Classic All-Tournament Team, including sophomore Aaron Crow being named the Most Outstanding Pitcher. Senior Gary Arndt, sophomore Ryan Lollis and freshman Greg Folgia also earned spots on the All-Tournament squad.
Next week Missouri travels to Millington, Tennessee for the Service Academy Classic.

Nebraska 3-1 Fri., Feb. 16 --- Nebraska 6, New Mexico 2
--- New Mexico 6, Nebraska 2
Sat., Feb. 17 --- Nebraska5, UT-Arlington 4
Sun., Feb. 18 --- Nebraska 7, Illinois State 3

Nebraska won the UTA Hilton Invitational tournament on their opening weekend, beating Illinois State on Sunday, while splitting a double-header with New Mexico on Friday. The Huskers return to action on Friday, Feb. 23, when they travel to Houston, Texas, for the Rice Invitational, where they will take on Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Rice and Florida Atlantic.

Oklahoma 0-0 No Games

Oklahoma will have their home opener next week against Western Illinois, starting a nine-game home stand.

Sat., Feb. 17 ---Florida Atlantic 9, Oklahoma State 6
Sun., Feb. 18 --- Oklahoma State 19, Ball State 4

Oklahoma State suffered their first loss of the season against Florida Atlantic this weekend at the FAU Beach Ball Bash (sounds like fun) in Boca Raton, Fla., but then bounced back by destroying Ball State on Sunday.
OSU returns to action Friday at Cal State-Northridge when they open a three-game series against the Matadors at 4 p.m.

Texas 3-1 Tue., Feb. 13 --- Texas 19, UTPA 0
Fri., Feb. 16 --- Texas 5, Stanford 3
Sat., Feb. 17 --- Texas 5, Stanford 2
Sun., Feb. 18 --- Stanford 10, Texas 8

Earlier in the week, Texas crushed UT-Pan American setting a school record for doubles with 11 in the single game.
They won the series against Stanford, but lost the sweep on Sunday, losing on Sunday.
Texas welcomes Texas State University to UFCU Disch-Falk Field for their home opener Tuesday at 2:30 p.m.

Texas A&M 4-0 Tue., Feb. 13 --- Texas A&M 5, McNeese State 2
Fri., Feb. 16 --- Texas A&M 7, UTPA 4
Sat., Feb. 17 --- Texas A&M 5, UTPA 2
Sun., Feb. 18 --- Texas A&M 6,UT-Pan American 3

After getting destroyed at Texas earlier in the week, UT-Pan American got the honor of getting swept by Texas A&M over the weekend.
The Aggies return to action on Tuesday against Texas-Arlington.

Texas Tech 5-0 Sun., Feb. 11 --- Texas Tech 12, Western Illinois 2
Mon., Feb. 12 --- Texas Tech 13, Western Illinois 11
Fri., Feb. 16 --- Texas Tech 21, Dallas Baptist 1
Sat., Feb. 17 --- Texas Tech 10, St. John's 6
Sun., Feb. 18 --- Texas Tech 7, St. John's 5

Texas Tech swept the Midland College Classic. Tech will be in action next Friday for their home opener, opening a three-game series against Northern Illinois on Friday at Dan Law Field.
