Pac-10 Officials Suspended - Those SOB's!

The Pac-10 officials that worked the Oregon-Oklahoma game, not the Pac-10 officials that called a wimpy roughing the passer call against Nebraska for having the audacity to hit John David Booty too hard.

It's important to recognize what an article says, but more importantly, what it doesn't say. Here at Corn Nation, we've broken it down so that you can get the true meaning of what's really happening. Subliminals italized.

"Errors clearly were made and not corrected, and for that we apologize to the University of Oklahoma, coach Bob Stoops and his players," Pac-10 Commissioner Tom Hansen said in a statement. "They played an outstanding college football game, as did Oregon especially with our help, and it is regrettable that the outcome of the contest was affected by the officiating, although not so regrettable that we'd forfeit. There isn't a damned thing you can do about it you Sooner SOB's. So get over it. Maybe next time you come to Oregon you could eat some place besides SuperAmerica. Took me 40 minutes to pay for my gas and my coffee got cold. "
"The fact that the errors on the onside kick altered the outcome of the game is most unfortunate and unsettling," Hansen said. "We had a solid veteran crew assigned, and the instant replay official had a fine career as a referee in the Pac-10 but his ex-wife is seeing a man from Enid she met on the Internet. So take that, you Enid-based SOB.

OU's President David Boren - wanted to challenge OU's President to fisticuffs, but was talked down by Stoops after saying "We have our own way of dealing with these things" and cracked his knuckles.

"We believe in the ability and integrity of each individual involved. It should be noted that not all of the seven officials were directly involved in the play in question, but the entire crew bears responsibility for every play. Game officials and replay officials have positions of great responsibility and must be accountable for their actions."So we'll be sacking them for a game, probably another intersectional game. They'll be replaced by another set of Pac-10 officials who don't have near the experience.

Bob Stoops had his comments as well:

"At least they have reacted to it and tried. Truly there can be no amends to it and it can't be corrected, except maybe with an ass-kicking." Stoops said, while cracking his knuckles.

Hansen said that the future work of the officials who were suspended will be closely monitored by other Pac-10 officials. We all know how this works, don't we? SOB's.
