Lebanon Valley College has a different kind of tradition they celebrate when they win over Albright. (HT:Double-A Zone)
Since at least the 1940s, Lebanon Valley's students have traditionally stormed -- good naturedly, of course -- the college president's home to request an extra day off after a win over Albright.
Yesterday afternoon, students gathered on campus and marched up Route 934 to President Stephen MacDonald's official residence, Kreiderheim. MacDonald granted the students' request, which means that Thanksgiving break will begin Nov. 21, a day early, and end Nov. 26.
Friday is a work day for me. Being a computer consultant, many times you're asked to do updates during everyone else's off hours. Normally, I manage to sneak a peak at the NU-CU game on a yearly basis.
Wouldn't it be nice if you got an extra day off for beating your rival?
