1973 was an incredible year as Tom Osborne takes over as the head coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. One of the biggest controversies in Big Ten history came about as Michigan and Ohio State battled to a 10-10 tie and a vote determined who went to the Rose Bowl.

Husker fans know "Bo" as Bo Pelini, but the year 1989 was special for another Bo - Bo Schembechler - who meant so much to Michigan fans. Today, Corn Nation salutes the Wolverines.

Tom Osborne not in top five coaches because he's bland. Apparently he should have punched someone as that would have made him more memorable.
