Nebraska's quarterback Tommie Frazier, center Dave Rimington, and legendary coach Tom Osborne are selected into the SB Nation College Football Hall of Fame. The three were selected by fan vote with absolutely no chicanery, no not one bit.
I was excited about SB Nation's attempt to create a College Football Hall of Fame when this project started. Given how it's been handled, I have no interest in further participation. Let's instead focus on the upcoming 2012 season.
The second round of selectees to the inaugural SB Nation Hall of Fame will be determined by fan vote. In the coach category, Nebraska's Tom Osborne is up against Ohio State's Jim Tressel, Michigan's Bo Schembechler, and Iowa's Hayden Fry.
