Penn State fans reacted with outrage after the NCAA announced their sanctions against their school. It's perfectly understandable how they reacted, and frankly, I think fans of just about any school would have reacted the same way. Even Husker fans.
With no bowls to play for and scholarship levels set at division 1-AA levels for the next few years, why would players play for Penn State except for the love of the University. How many will transfer elsewhere?
"Unprecedented" means almost surely massive scholarship reductions and a multi-year postseason ban that would effectively cripple Penn State for years to come.
