Rich Fisher, who recently resigned from the Rivers School in Weston, Mass., appears to be joining the Nebraska coaching staff, probably as running backs coach, according to multiple sources. Fisher is a Colorado alum from the early 90's, and was on the coaching staffs at Colorado, Oklahoma State, and Idaho previously before heading to New England.
So that appears to complete the coaching staff. Former Husker center John Garrison is expected to be promoted to assistant coach to work with Barney Cotton on the o-line. Ohio assistant coach Ross Els is expected to replace Mike Ekeler as linebackers coach, and Indiana assistant Corey Raymond will take over as secondary coach.
So now, we await the official announcements...which may be delayed by administrivia and a final push to find new positions for Shawn Watson and Ted Gilmore.
