Nebraska vs Texas Volleyball and other tidbits

Our #1 Nebraska Cornhuskers Volleyball team takes on Texas tonight! The game will be on CSTV, and if you can't get CSTV, you can get the game online at CSTV's All Access site.

Texas is currently ranked seventh at 4-2 on the season and are having problems finding their identity.

This is the Big 12 Opener for both teams. Texas All-American Destinee Hooker has been suspended for tonight's game.

We haven't done enough Volleyball coverage here at Corn Nation, and for that I apologize.

I love NE WVB! Those VB chics are pretty hot in general.

Anyway, they swept TX who was short 2 of their best players. That frosh on TX was a great player; It would have been alot tougher had they had their 2 stars.
NE played well, but didn't look quite as sharp as we're used to. Larson wasn't as much of a factor as she normally is and I wonder if that is because Houghtaling is back in the mix, thereby receiving some of the sets that usually would have gone to Larson. Stalls made a number of key kills to get momentum and Holloway was a difference maker as well with her float game. Whatever it takes.

This team can only stop themselves. I see them going undefeated and getting the 2nd NC.
