Please use this thread to discuss the Nebraska - Colorado game and any other games you might be watching today.
- Contrary to some people's opinions, Nebraska needs to win this game. I know that some of you want it to be a loss to ensure Callahan's firing, but that's WRONG THINKING.
- It's wrong thinking because we can still get to a bowl game which means three more weeks of practice for younger players.
- It's wrong thinking because you shouldn't enjoy losing so much.
- It's wrong because we have so many good players and I don't want it to end on a loss for them.
- It's wrong because however we finish this season carries into the next one.
- It's wrong because, well, dammit, because I say it's wrong.

Ganz
started out really cold and didn't complete a pass until his 7th try. Didn't look sharp at all. Has since been very good. Making great passes and running well. Looks like KSU Joe right now.

Ganz blew it!
2nd Half adjustments.
Colorado played the Pass....rushed 3 most of the game and Ganz could not find the open guy and when he did...misfired...threw behind them all day.

He will
start but he has a rib injury so who knows what will happen. Its cold and that always hurts to get thing stretched out. I think he will play the whole game but if he takes another hit who knows.
Dont
know for sure but he left the field to go to the locker room after the last TD pass and the announcers said he had taken a hard shot to the ribs. Didn't see it and they showed no replay so dont know if it was on that play or an earlier one.

DISLIKED him since the Raiders!
Tim Brown, Rich Gannon and ESPECIALLY the Defense HATED CALLAHAN while at the Raiders!!
I try to keep it in perspective...it was the Raiders!

Coaching
or lack there of. Not practicing in full pads after the season starts is dumb. This is just plain bad coaching. You have to keep working on fundementals and we dont seem to.

Exactly what I have wondered!
Admitting their are defensive problems and/or firing your D-Coordinator is the first step in being a Head Coach.
He never acknowledged anything!!! I hope they have a list of fresh young coaches!

Hell, we can't stop them, so now they'll just run out the clock and end our season.
I guess that's probably an appropriate ending to this season.

I was at the Fresno State Triple OT game at the Home of the 12th Man.....nice game. A&M did not deserve to win.....home field crowd really helped that day.
To think that same team went to Lincoln and kicked the crap out of the HUSKERS.
I am so tired of making excuses for Players and Coaches. COMPETE!

I didn't even get pissed off at this one. I guess I just dont care like I used too or I have come to get used to this staff letting me down and there is no reason to be mad anymore. If BC is retained for some idiotic reason then I will probably become very irrate again and yell and scream like never before. Its been good talking with you all but now that basketball season has started I am sure that I will not be posting as much (a good thing for some I'm sure) so hope you all had a good Thanksgiving and have a great off season.
