Nebraska didn't lose a single game during the month of September, beating Penn State, Cal Poly, Duke, New Mexico State, Texas, Texas Tech, Texas A&M, and Baylor.

Coming into tonight's game, Nebraska is 13-0, 5-0 in the Big 12. Kansas State is 13-3, 5-1 in the Big 12, with a loss to the Oklahoma Sooners. Nebraska is on top the Big 12 with Kansas State and Oklahoma both at 5-1, followed by Texas at 4-1.

The game is in Lincoln - the last time the Wildcats won in Lincoln was in 2003, when Kansas State won the Big 12 title in volleyball with a 18-2 record, followed by Nebraska at 17-3.

Good Gawd

I expected the Cats to get demolished tonight, but was kind of hoping they'd at least put up a little bit of a fight.

30-16, 30-16?

Shit.

They put up a fight in the third...

I watched

the Colorado - Missouri game for just a bit after this on FSN Midwest.

Talk about a different level of volleyball. It was like watching slo-mo.

The top five are definitely at a different level in this sport.

Go Big Red!

Comparison

Nebraska is clearly head and shoulders above the rest of the Big 12.  I will be interested to see how they fare in the national tournament this year since it's not in Omaha.  On paper, they're likely the best team in the nation, but they've had that distinction before and ended up short of the trophy.

We'll carry the banner high!
