wow

Way too much love for Florida, none for BC, USF.

So what's going to happen this weekend - LSU vs UF?

Of the New Faces in the top 25

I think USF has the best chance of finishing in the top 10.  I have them at 10 right now, which I think is about right.  I'm just not sold on their offense.  They have 2 impressive wins mainly because of an excellent D.

I also like Cinci alot because Brian Kelly is my fav coach.

ASU is good but has little chance against CAL, SC, and probably OR.  Erickson's a tough coach, though.

FL's achilles heal is AU, it's one of those matchup things.  FL has youth on the D, especially in the secondary(that's why Cox looked so good); LSU is a mature team throughout, though Tebow is better than Flynn.  Edge to LSU at home: 34 -27.

Just because a team is undefeated like KS or MO or HI doesn't mean they're better than FL or OK, or even NE, for that matter.    In that respect, the polls tend to be flawed.

BC struggled to a win over UMass!  Mark my words, BC will drop a few games in the regular season, though I like this new coach better than O'Brien.

Wishfull Thinking,

until Big Red bounces them back outta the top 25!  It's still a mystery how Tiggers move up three spots in a bye week.

Never underestimate the dreaded 'Pinkel Factor'....!

they'll

need to prove it. After all, they are the "Show Me" state, right? :)

They've won the last two in Columbia, and they weren't even close. Maybe this one will be the same as your other post stated, we're pretty bad at defense.

Thing is, Missouri hasn't played a good offense yet, and they're still giving up tons of yardage to some fairly cruddy teams.

Last season they built their defensive stats early on some pretty weak competition, then as Big 12 conference play they didn't live up to the hype.

I'd write some more, but I'll continue that in another post soon.
