Dropped Out: Illinois (#14), Wisconsin (#23), Florida State (#24), Connecticut (#25).

This is nuts.

We're down to six undefeated teams: Ohio State, Boston College, South Florida, Arizona State, Kansas, and Hawaii.

Should South Carolina be that high?

I'm of the mind that losers should drop harder than they do in the regular AP polls, the coaches dropped LSU to only fifth, yet rank Arizona State at 12th. That sounds a little like they're not paying much attention, doesn't it?

Comments welcome, please.

All wrong AGAIN!

I'm not going over this again, but UNDEFEATED DOES NOT EQUAL BETTER!

Anyway, USF, BC, KS, and ASU, will be outta there soon enough--top 10 teams are goin' down faster than Monika Lewinski......

i don't

disagree that undefeated doesn't necessarily mean they're better, otherwise Hawaii would be way up there.

however, i think you'd have a hard time justifying ranking teams with one loss above some of the undefeated.

The Pretenders--AGAIN!

O.k., USF looks like the real deal and could probably win against anybody--at least 1 outta 3.

BC is the big pretender here.  They ARE a very solid team on both sides, but they had a lackluster game vs the Domers, and just got by UMASS!!!  Ryan is very solid, but they don't have any real home run threats on O.  They're perhaps the best in the ACC, which isn't saying alot, but any number of SEC teams could roll 'em right up.  I rate them down there with the Mizzous of the world--very good, but not great: 15-18 range.

KU is vastly overrated, C'MON!  WHAT HAVE THEY DONE?  They beat KSU, so what, KSU is inconsistent, Freeman et. al. being categorical underachievers.  Every team rated below them could take KU, with possible exceptions being VA, PSU, and HI.

HI is another overrated team in a weak conference.  Brennan had a better year last year.  They nearly lost to SJSU for god's sake.  Whatever, they have cute uniforms.

I don't know if you saw Beavs vs Cal, but they have a real good team, unfortunately inconsistent.

TTech most underrated team!  They will roll Mizzou by 14+, in Tig's own house, and watch out, their D is coming alive! I think they're a #12-15 team now and wouldn't be surprised at all if they finish in the top 10.  In fact, I would predict it.  They are one dropped pass away from being undefeated, and they've played some good teams.

If

KU and BC are vastly overrated, then they will lose and therefore will fall.

Against the competition they've met, they've done everything that's been asked of them so far and duly rewarded.

I originally ranked Oregon State in my top 25, but dropped them after they were destroyed by Cincinnati.

Hawaii stays ranked where they are week to week. I haven't moved them up, and probably won't unless everyone else fails.

Mizzou vs Texas Tech - I like Mizzou's offense. Texas Tech losing to Okie State bothered me quite a bit and I don't care that they fired their defensive coordinator.  I'll wait and see on that one.

KU

WILL lose a couple of games; BC's sched. favors them the rest of the way.  Both are rated high now soley because they are undefeated.  4-5 one or two loss SEC teams could beat either one of them right now or anytime FTM.

How the heck do you rate LSU behind Texas?

Texas got smoked at home, LSU lost in triple OT on the road.  Texas has struggled in several games, while LSU got bit by a top 20 team on the road a week after a huge victory over the defending national champs.

I'm not sure I won't leave LSU at #1 personally.  Plenty of time to promote South Florida if they continue to roll.

well

this is the kind of feedback I'm looking for, to be honest.

I don't disagree with you.

nah...

he's just a tiger fan. i work with quite a few of them. keep in mind that nebraska has historically beat those pansies for the better part of a century so they know nothing about winning with style.

last time missouri won the conference championship outright? 1962, the year before the bobfather arrived.

the last time they got a piece of anything resembling a championship? 1969 and they shared with... who was it? ... oh, yah: NEBRASKA.

enjoy the ride while you can, tigers. order will be restored. may take a few years, but it's coming.
