‎"I love it here," Pelini said. "I've said this before: This is not a steppingstone job. This is a destination. I enjoy what I'm doing here, I love who I'm working with, I love who I'm working for. I'm not looking for another job. I'm committed to winning a championship here. I'm passionate about winning a championship here."

Shatel's article from his interview with Pelini. I think it gives us a good idea of how far along Mr. Pelini has come in four seasons.

I have been pretty caught up in the "game" of recruiting lately, even defending over signing but got a bit of insight at the lives it effects by reading the above story. Good article about number of recruits vs number of scholarships. Just another reason to hate Iowa too.

Devin Fuller Commits To UCLA Bruins Over Arizona And Rutgers (And Nebraska)

I think a lot of Nebraska fans thought that since Greg Schiano left Rutgers for the NFL, that Devin Fuller would be ours for the taking.

NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND!

Kind of interesting that a New Jersey kid would go all the way across the US to play in Southern California. Think he'll be a quarterback, or not?

A window of opportunity?

Rutgers head coach, Greg Schiano, has departed from the school to coach the Tampa Bay Buccaneers just a week before National Signing Day. This could have a positive effect for Nebraska as we are competing for the signature of N.J. native Devin Fuller who seemed to be narrowed down to just a few schools left including Rutgers. Does this also open the conversation back up with Quanzell Lambert, who previously gave a verbal to Rutgers over Nebraska?

Tre'vell Dixon Becomes 1st Husker Commitment for 2013 Recruiting Class

Dixon is an Athlete from Baldwin, LA. I'll put more up on him and any other class of 2013 recruits who commit after signing day.

(Note: This may be Deion Jones situation as Dixon is a Louisiana player without an LSU offer. If he has a big senior season, and an LSU offer ensues, I'd say chances would be good that he makes the switch. This is my very definition of the "Soft" commitment.)
