With the 96th pick in the Third Round of the 2016 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots have selected Nebraska Defensive Tackle Vincent Valentine.
Valentine, who left Nebraska with one year left of eligibility, has his degree in Journalism from Nebraska.
Valentine was originally a mid-level 3 star out of Edwardsville HS in Illinois, and redshirted his first year in Lincoln. Like his counterpart Maliek Collins, Valentine flourished in the 2014 season and seemed to regress in 2015 when the coaching change affected not only the whole staff, but replaced Defensive schemes.
Our NFL profile is right here on Valentine.
Congrats to you New England, he's going to be the run-stuffing Nose Tackle you're looking for.
