In between last weekend and this coming weekend, Nebraska has kept on with their influx of Junior Unofficial visits this week. Lets review on who showed up.
To kick this off, we should mention that the first four kids listed here are all from the same Dallas-Fort Worth High School.
Damarkus Lodge- This 5 star Wideout is as good as they get. Out of Cedar Hill HS, he may not leave the Southwest as Texas A&M and Baylor are in the mix. But Lincoln would love him and Damore'ea Stringfellow lining up for Nebraska.
Richard Moore - This OLB will be announcing the same day as Lodge (June 20th) and most folks think this is a package deal where both kids go to the same school. Another TAMU or Baylor decision looks like the calling card in this case too.
Darrell Miller - even though Nebraska has a lot of DB's in this '15 group, they could be looking to get another one. Currently a Boise State lean, Bo Pelini should just play a loop of Stanley Jean-Baptiste and Prince/Dennard plays for Miller.
Darris Harper - with no offers yet, Harper is looking to jumpstart his recruitment and could breakout by the end of his Senior season.
Lamar Jackson - This Dual Threat QB out of Boynton Beach, Florida is looking for a spread offense to go to school with. Currently, West Virginia is the leader here, but with the unknown that is Kevin Dillman, Nebraska is looking for another signal caller in this class.
Mirko Jurkovic Jr. - This OG out of the IMG Academy in South Bend has Purdue as his leader. John Garrison is on the trail however, and it sounds like Mirko liked his visit to Lincoln. Nebraska was in his top 4 and were the first to get a visit, so hopefully it carries over through to a commitment.
CJ Johnson - The son of former Husker great Clester Johnson from Bellevue has been jonesing for a Nebraska offer hard. He was on campus this week, and will be camping with a few other teams through the summer.
Lincoln was awesome, Nebraska is a special place! #GBR— Mirko Jurkovic Jr ♘ (@mirko_jurko64) June 12, 2014
We will preview the second Big Red Weekend tomorrow, where there are some rather big targets for Nebraska that could commit.
