Just a couple questions for you Huskers fan from a fellow BIG TEN'ner

Heyo guys Kelvin here from fellow Big ten university Northwestern. First of all congrats on your awesome Bball wins in the Conference tourney and an early congrats on a potential NCAA bid. But can i pick you rbrians a bit and get your honest reactions and opinions on the new basketball fever you guys are having. I personally think it's awesome and I want to gauge your opinion on the conference and your newfound Bball prowess.

1) First and foremost...WTH guys we brought you in for football prowess and now you somehow freaking become a basketball power, and Meh.. ( for you anyhow) in football. You seriously are beginning to reflect the rest of the conference. Awesome in Basketball, but for some reason, cursed in football. I really do mean no offense in that, just funny I suppose. I never knew both your woman and men's Bball teams would be so excellent and in such a great basketball conference.

2) Do you think that our conference was deserving of such high praise nationally for its toughness in Bball and do you think it seriously helped the Huskers chances for an NCAA bid since the conference overall RPI is so high. If so did the toughness of the conference make your team better

3) I do think Nebraska will definitely be included with the NCAA tourney, as they have beaten a ranked Wisconsin and Ohio State Bball teams and have played pretty damn well in the conference. Do you think this is truely the beginning of a basketball revival in Nebraska? Do you think that Nebraska may become a Basketball power on the likes of Kansas one day? And if so do you think Basketball will now be an "IT" sport in Nebraska now near the level of your off the charts love for football?

4) Lastly, how are you Husker fans felling about the BIG TEN. Do you truly feel part of the conference. I for one already look like you guys were always here and am still happy to have you. No AAU qualification or not. TBH i can't image a future without you in the conference. That being said, have you noticed any truly positive benefits as being part of the conference compared to the past conferences you were a part of? I ask because to this day we still hear complaints from Penn State complaining about not having a true rival and them feeling the don't belong. If you guys had to pick a rivial, and i know its too early yet, do you feel one is forming? Whom is it and what University in conference do you feel a Kinship with. I mean I know you have the hateful Glee for the failures of Iowa like Michigan has for Ohio State, but who is your "rival"? I Mean Oklahoma doesn't count yet. I hope someday we do bring them in for you because that would be awesome to have that tradition back for you again.

Sorry I am rambling and that really is more then 4 questions, but please answer whatever comes to mind for you. It's just for our odd inquisitive minds here at Northwestern. It also shows me the health of our conference.
