Welcome to the calm before the storm. National Signing Day 2014 commences early tomorrow, and you bet that Corn Nation will be there to cover the Huskers as they welcome the newest players to North Stadium.
First off, I'm not expecting a whole lot of surprises on Wednesday. Kenyon Frison, who is basically the last decision to be made, will make his pick at 8:30am. Nebraska will probably not be on top in this battle. Matter of factly, I'm expecting Frison to flip from Arizona State to Oklahoma. Nebraska doesn't necessarily need Frison, but would be a perfect way to finish up the day.
As far as the athletes committing, we'll start the day at 6:00am central here on the site, and have a StoryStream flowing all day with updates, commentary, and any and all surprises that may come along.
If you want to follow along on your fave social media outlet, you can like Corn Nation on Facebook, or even follow CN on Twitter (where I'll be updating all day long).
If you can't get to a computer to follow, don't fret! You can sign up for CN's text messaging service. We normally use it for big news, but it's become a great way to get you your recruit updates on NSD. Join Corn Nation text alerts on RainedOut and we'll ship off texts when we find out that LOI's are faxed into North Stadium.
We will also have a comprehensive listing of preferred walk-on's also, and we plan on ending the day with highlights of Head Coach Bo Pelini's press conference in the afternoon. Just in time for Nebraska to beat Michigan.
