Corn Flakes: A Deflating Loss...

Husker Streak Comes to a Halt - Corn Nation

Cold shooting Huskers struggles to get anything going vs. Illinois who snapped the Huskers winning streak at five, 60-49.

That was rather deflating.

Still, Nebraska finds itself in sixth place with a 8-7 record in Big Ten play. I'm not an expert on the NCAA bubble or anything like that, but a positive record in perhaps the best basketball conference in the nation should be worth something.

The good news is that the Huskers have three games left and two of them are at home.

Nebraska has Northwestern at home Saturday, then they're at Indiana next Wednesday, and finish the regular season against Wisconsin the following Saturday at home.

Are we capable of taking two of three?

Poll: 93 of 128 FBS coaches oppose slowdown rule proposal | SI Wire

Less than 20 percent of FBS head coaches support a rule that would slow down games, according to an ESPN survey.

I'd have linked directly to ESPN, but I hate linking to ESPN because of their autoplay videos. Instead, you get a link to SI.com which then links to ESPN.

The vast majority of coaches are against the rule. I know everyone finds this shocking news.
