National Signing Day finally happened and the Winter Olympics got underway in Sochi so there was plenty of talk about on Twitter this week and I'm here to filter through everything and give you some of the best tweets from the past week.
John Papuchis debunks any rumors of him being spotted at a grocery store.
National Signing Day was this week so you can imagine there were plenty of Faux Pelini shenanigans tweeting at all the new Huskers who signed LOIs. It even went to point to where he got a response from one of them.
@JeraldFoster thank you for being a large person who is good at blocking other people— Fake Bo Pelini (@FauxPelini) February 5, 2014
@FauxPelini haha sounds like a deal— Jerald Foster (@JeraldFoster) February 5, 2014
Tunnel Walk of Shame also provided some extra commentary on Bo’s National Signing Day press conference…one is unlike the other.
"Someday I'm gonna write a book." - Bo. I'm astounded. Please do this.— Tunnel Walk of Shame (@TunnelWalkShame) February 5, 2014
"I'm not gonna tell you the cat's name, that's private, between us. He became a hell of a closer though." Bo. Yes. You're really doing it.— Tunnel Walk of Shame (@TunnelWalkShame) February 5, 2014
"Carl said this program needed to get more pussy and taking a picture of a cat seemed to be the safer way to accomplish that."— Tunnel Walk of Shame (@TunnelWalkShame) February 5, 2014
And I think TWOS came up with the perfect nickname for Pelini’s plane used for recruiting nationwide
Bo Pelini travels the country on a private plane. I bet he calls it Bo Force One and has to bring Taylor back a souvenir eveyrwhere he goes.— Tunnel Walk of Shame (@TunnelWalkShame) February 5, 2014
Meanwhile…if only Pelini knew how to use the ‘Easy Button’ at Staples
.@Staples Do you carry fax machines that receive faxes from 5-star high school football players— Fake Bo Pelini (@FauxPelini) February 6, 2014
Maybe he should have consulted Miley Cyrus about this problem instead
.@DrOz I twerked for 8 minutes and now I have no feeling in my legs is that normal— Fake Bo Pelini (@FauxPelini) February 6, 2014
Faux Pelini wished he had a snow day before National Signing Day…
@Harvey_Perlman Can I go home— Fake Bo Pelini (@FauxPelini) February 4, 2014
…but he was denied by Chancellor Perlman
@FauxPelini No, you have to keep coaching!— Harvey Perlman (@Harvey_Perlman) February 4, 2014
Probably my favorite thing on social media this week is the discovery of @SochiProblems showcasing all the pitfalls and horrors of living and bathroom areas in Sochi, Russia the host for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games. There are too many good posts for me to post on here but they are definitely worth a follow for the next couple weeks.
Speaking of the Olympics….
Haha the Olympics started at like 3 o'clock this morning, nice scheduling idiots good luck skiing in the dark— Fake Bo Pelini (@FauxPelini) February 6, 2014
FP also gave some sage advice for the Founder of Deadspin who had just arrived in Sochi
@williamfleitch Quick advice, do NOT leave the hotel dressed as a stray dog.— Fake Bo Pelini (@FauxPelini) February 6, 2014
He also appears deeply concerned about the condition of some of the athletes.
@SportsCenter OH MY GOD THE BIATHLON HAS GONE TERRIBLY WRONG— Fake Bo Pelini (@FauxPelini) February 8, 2014
Faux Pelini was on fire this week. One of his best moments was probably trolling a tweeter about start times for Olympic events. I expect more of the same throughout the Olympics.
Professor Snape ladies and gentlemen...
I think it's funny that the Muggles have their own Goblet of Fire. #OpeningCeremony— Professor Snape (@_Snape_) February 8, 2014

An American bobsledder had to break out of his bathroom
I was taking a shower and the door got locked/jammed....— Johnny Quinn (@JohnnyQuinnUSA) February 8, 2014
Meanwhile an American friend/skeleton athlete questions his decision…
@JohnnyQuinnUSA seriously Johnny who goes to the bathroom with out a cell phone? It's 2014 brother.— John Daly (@JohnDalyUSA) February 8, 2014
I am thinking about turning this into a weekly piece so feedback is appreciated and I will try coming out with something better next week! GO BIG RED!
