The Lincoln Southeast Quarterback/Safety is the first person to verbal to Nebraska.
It was just a matter of time for this commitment.
Lincoln (Neb.) Southeast ATH Luke Gifford has committed to #Nebraska.#Huskers

Gifford, who some project to be an athlete at the collegiate level, has played both Free Safety and Quarterback for the Lincoln Southeast Knights.
His Hudl reel does show some athleticism, and he does have the frame to fill out, which could open him up to a multitude of positions when he does enroll at Nebraska.
With how Nebraska could be thin at Safety in the coming year, Gifford could be one to learn the ropes in the defensive backfield to help out with Nathan Gerry in the coming years.
This is the Huskers' first commitment for the 2014 cycle, a cycle that will only let them take roughly 20 commitments at the current time. With few available spots, expect Nebraska to go after top notch recruits this time around.
