For the second time this season, Husker freshman forward, Shavon Shields has been named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week.
Shields played a central role in the Huskers thrilling comeback win vs. Iowa Saturday afternoon. Shields scored 17 points, 12 in the second half and pulled in seven rebounds as the Huskers climbed back from a 19 point first half deficit to notch their fourth conference victory of the season.
Shields and the Huskers next take to the court Tuesday evening as they hit the road to face the Wisconsin Badgers.
