It's Christmas Week!
Kind of a screwy Christmas week, though, with the holiday falling right in the middle of the week, which means a lot of us won't get more than one day off, and nobody will really be interested in doing anything.
We'll try to keep it going, though, as there are bowl games all week, except for Christmas day. Tonight is the St Peterburg Bowl, featuring Frank Solich's Ohio Bobcats versus the East Carolina Pirates.

Former University of Colorado offensive lineman Alex Lewis on Friday pled guilty to third-degree assault in a case stemming from an altercation on Boulder's University Hill neighborhood in May.
He's probably clear to transfer to Nebraska then. Lewis, 21, pled guilty to the Class 1 misdemeanor in exchange for four other charges against him--including two felony counts of second-degree assault--being dropped, according to prosecutors with the Boulder District Attorney's Office.

A reporter then asked Leach if there was a concern that a player who enters the game after being held out for most of the contest would be "cold" and unable to perform. The question was an obvious reference to reserve running back Jeremiah Laufasa, whose only carry of the game ended in a fumble that set up the game-tying touchdown. "Next question," Leach sighed. "I mean, what the hell kind of question is that? You go out there, you practice all the time, you play. I'm not even answering that." The same reporter later asked why it was that things went wrong "quickly and drastically" for Washington State at times this season. "Next question," he responded.
