Recruiting tight ends to Nebraska isn't going well which brings up questions about the Huskers' future power run game.
Thanks to today's commitment, it's clear that there'll be no lack of horses in the stable regardless of which offensive base Nebraska chooses to go with.
Terrell Newby, rated the No. 23 running back and the No. 203 prospect in the country overall by the 247Composite index, committed to the Cornhuskers today at his high school in West Hills, CA.
Newby is the second running back committed this cycle along with Adam Taylor who joined the class in mid-November.
Assuming both running backs sign their Letters of Intent in February, the Huskers will have five on scholarship including juniors Ameer Abdullah and Braylon Heard along with sophomore Imani Cross.
Newby gives Nebraska commitment No. 20 this cycle, and the Huskers are looking to take a full compliment of 25 prospects. The clock's ticking as they have 28 days to wrap things up.
