CN Cookbook - Raspberry Whiskey

Not sure if this is tailgate worthy. I guess it depends on how crazy you want your tailgate to get.

Ingredients:

1/2 gallon of a Canadian Whiskey....something like Canadian Mist or Club.

4 pints of raspberries

2 cups of sugar

Directions:

Pour everything in a 1 gallon glass jar.

Put the lid on it and shake it up.

Place it in a dark area (like a basement) and shake it once a day for the next few days to get the sugar all stirred up.

Come back in 6 months and it is ready.

If you want it to kick your butt, keep the berries in with the whiskey and eat them while drinking. That is where alot of the alcohol gathers. I tried taking the berries out this year and squeezing out the juice, but it just wasn't he same.

Don't forget to make your own personalized labels and be sure to warn your friends.
