Pelini confirmed this today after practice, stating that:

He's got through some issues and he's ready to come back.

He's been practicing with the team all week to boot.

Obviously this is some fantastic news. I'm happy for him and the team.

Personally, I just think it's awesome that we have a guy with that many tattoos on defense. That is the source of his strength. He looks like he could murder someone at the drop of a hat, and that's what I want from my defensive tackles.

It will be interesting to see how he works in among lazy-susan-esque rotation of our defensive line. Hopefully Pelini just points and says "ball," and then lets Chase off his chain.
