Corn Nation - our 'designated' B1G trophy game is the "Heroes Trophy" with Iowa. I propose we have an "unofficial" trophy game with cross-division rival, Wisconsin. Because both teams basically have very similar color schemes...we should "wager" the RED jersey. Regardless of home or away, the team who won the previous matchup will wear ALL RED. The loser, wears all WHITE. With the new trend in uniforms for college football, I would even propose the winner wears a RED helmet, the chromatic opposite of what they wear now. It would be the most UNIQUE trophy in college football, because the trophy is actually worn by the players...the RED uniforms. Seeing last years game on TV, I often thought we were in a "spring" game(kinda played like it too). It was difficult to remember who was who. All RED vs All WHITE, it would look great on TV. Even the fans could get into it. The fans would be encouraged to match the players. To be good sportsmen, we should offer to wear ALL White given last years results.
