What can the B1G do to improve in baseball? Purdue is the only ranked B1G team, and the league rarely has multiple ranked teams in any given year. The last conference team to make it to the College World Series was Michigan in 1984. That was 28 years ago. I know Nebraska qualified in 2001, 2002 and 2005.
Wisconsin doesn't even field a baseball team, but that still leaves 11 schools with baseball programs.
What can be done to improve Big Ten baseball? Does the colder weather really have that much of an impact?
The College World Series now resides in Big Ten Country, but can the Big Ten ever get to the point of sending teams to Omaha on a regular basis?
