It's a veritable sports wasteland on Christmas. Grandpa and cousin Mel may be drinking beer and playing cards, but there's no football on Christmas now that the Aloha Bowl is defunct. Even the Blue-Gray game went belly-up. Only thing sports related is a few NBA games, if that's your fancy.

So this is your open thread for the day. Let us know if Santa left some airline tickets to Orlando under your tree this morning.... or any other Husker stuff. Unless it's one of those awful foam cornheads or striped overalls Iowa fans wear... (In which case, be careful in destroying them. Chances are that burning will release toxic fumes... Best bet is to donate them to Goodwill and hope they get shipped to some foreign country.)
