Corn Nation is giving away a free Vintage Nebraska 2013 Calendar, and giving you a 10% discount on purchasing more. To win, all you have to do is tell us what you most want under your Christmas tree this year.
I'm slow sometimes. Then sometimes I completely whiff on things because there's a lot going on these days, which is code for, "I'm getting older and more forgetful", which is code for "there's too much to remember and I'm not going to bother trying anymore". That last part is the truth, btw. As we get older we don't lose our memories so much as they get filled up with things, and we realize that there's not a lot of value in trying to remember everything.
WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH A FREE CALENDAR...????
Well, nothing, except that I noticed this morning that our Michigan site Maize N Brew is giving away a free calendar in a contest, and I suddenly remembered - "I KNOW THOSE PEOPLE FROM ASGARD PRESS AND I CAN DO THE SAME THING!".
You know you need a 2013 Calendar, but don't want just not any calendar. You need a Husker 2013 calendar, but just not any Husker calendar.
You need something unique. You need a Vintage Nebraska 2013 Calendar from Asgard Press. You can buy one from their web site, or you could win one in our contest!
If you do not participate in the contest (or win, for that matter), but still wish to purchase a calendar, you can do so at a 10% discount. There are two ways to do it:
1. Go to www.asgardpress.com, and use the promo code "cornnation12."
2. Just click on this link: http://www.asgardpress.com/?promocode=cornnation12
(A heads-up, the site doesn't calculate the 10% discount until the very end, so don't worry when you don't see the discount when you put the calendar in your shopping cart.)
This offer is good now until February 1, 2013.
BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CONTEST?
Between now and Friday night at midnight, leave a comment here on CN or on our Facebook page about what you'd most like to see under your Christmas tree come Christmas morning. If you don't have a tree, don't worry about it, the tree is metaphorical.
You can tell us what you really want, or you can completely make something up. You cannot wish for a bowl win over Georgia because that's in the future, beyond Christmas Day, so you cannot wish for something in the future for anything else either.
I will pick the best entry and send you a free Asgard press calendar. Isn't that nice?
