Bruce Thorson-US PRESSWIRE

Nebraska gets a desperately needed commitment from a Juco DE who can play immediately.

Well, at least I can trash the piece on how Nebraska went 0-fer both the Wisconsin and Michigan game.

Woo.... Hoo....

Randy Gregory, the top JUCO weakside Defensive End in America this year (acc to 247 sports) and the third overall JUCO prospect in the nation has committed to Nebraska. Gregory had just visited Lincoln for Nebraska's game versus Michigan, and just so happened to de-commit from Purdue earlier this week.

Gregory, a 6' 5", 240 pounder originally from Fischers, Indiana, will come to Lincoln from Arizona Western CC and will have 3 years to play 3 after sitting out this season.

(Gregory is #5 in this video)

This commitment comes at a time where Nebraska had been without one for almost three whole months, and helps get the number of commits back to 14 after Christian LaCouture decided to decommit to try his hand at landing with LSU.

See, we didn't strike out for last week. I'm happy now.
