So, Nebraska was the bad guy, Nebraska was disloyal, Nebraska was stupid to leave. Here is an article out of Missouri that basically validates everything Nebraska said, from the start of the Big 12 to the 'Husker exodus to the B1G. If it weren't such a mess, we could sit back and say "We told you so."
But it's too messy for that. Teams we played hard and mingled sweat and blood with are in a pretty bad way, and the pendulum has swung from erroneously blaming Nebraska to seeing the true culprit - Texas. This article says it all, and says it better than we could because it's not us saying it:
I think most Nebraska fans are over the 'screw you Kansas.Baylor/Missouri/Iowa State/Kansas State' for all the crap they heaped on us last year, calling us traitors and (usually figuratively) spitting on us. It's just sad to see what is happening and think these proud teams we had so many hard fought contests with are precariously perched on the razors edge, put there by the hubris of a university that thinks it has all the answers and has an entitlement to do as they will.
What do you think?
