Gunning for the UW Trifecta...

Nebraska takes on a 3rd UW in as many games on Oct 1st. Can they complete the UW trifecta? My opinion after the jump.

Star-divide

The Huskers have been playing to their competition, plain and simple, it's a heartburn inducing fact for Husker fans around the world. I think that the couple wrinkles Coach Beck threw out while the Huskers finished shellacking the Pokes were just scratching the surface. We know Rex Burkhead (who has commonly been referred to as Burkmode once on the field by blogging fans) is as capable at QB as Taylor Martinez, they both bring their own skill to the position, Burkhead will run through you along with the three guys behind you and Martinez will run around you and leave you gasping for air.

When they step out on the field at Camp Randall Wisconsin will have to decide who they are going to try and contain and it's just a matter of time before one or the other or both break off a huge play and leaves the Badgers scratching their heads.

I think the Cornhuskers are a lot better then they look, in my 26 years of Husker life every team I have seen play Nebraska has brought their "A" game. Easiest way to make my point, October 1, 1994 the Wyoming Cowboys came to Lincoln, Nebraska and the resulting score was 42 - 32 Nebraska on their way to a National Title.

If the Huskers take their "A" game in to Camp Randall I expect the completion of the UW Trifecta!

I am going with

Who Cares – they have a rematch in December.

It’s not like I don’t really care… but losing this one won’t bother me as much as if we get to the rematch. And I’d really like to see us in that rematch.

Go Big Red Nebraska!
