2011 College Football Rankings: Blogpoll Draft Ballot Week 3

Not a whole lot of movement as there weren't a lot of huge games. I know that Wisconsin had problems rushing the ball against Oregon State, but the fact that the Badgers scored easily against the Beavers only means that they're just as effective passing the ball as running.

I could possibly drop Nebraska, but I'm not as down on them as many Husker fans appear to be. Ohio State I dropped not because of their close win, but in realizing that they just don't have the depth they usually have and they are going to win some B1G games when the conference season rolls around.

Otherwise the bottom five is just pure hell. Clemson? TCU or Texas? FEEDBACK!

Neither Texas or TCU made it this week.

Texas had to come back from a hole against an unranked opponent who derped their way to win against Ole Miss. They need to show they aren’t the same 5-7 team from last season. I’m not convinced yet.

TCU needs to show something more than just beating Air Force. They lost to Baylor in a shootout and Patterson is supposedly as much of a defensive genius as the Pelini bros.

I’d give Toledo the #25, just because they held their own against Ohio State, first time any Ohio school has done that against OSU since 1909…

I’m surprised you didn’t drop Nebraska. I really think we should be no higher than 13 or 14 right now. 15-16 would be more comfortable. I think we improve and earn a top 10, but we’re not there yet.

I just don't see it

Ranking 1 loss Toledo above the undefeated teams of Michigan, Texas, Washington, Northwestern, Illinois, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Virginia, Cal, and Maryland (plus several others) would be unfair. Especially since I believe all of those teams could beat Toledo on a neutral field.

I am willing to sully the Top 25 in Week 2.

In Week 7, I feel more confident about rankings. Until then, we’re all blind to the insanity.

Utah loses and moves up 3 spots?

Utah should drop from the rankings.

Cal deserves a ranking. Beat a very good Fresno St. team (as we well now know) and went into Boulder and pulled out a win. Give them some love.

A&M ranked #7 really bugs me. But I guess we will know more in 2 weeks when they host Okie lite.

Mark My Words, 1st Edition

In 4 weeks Baylor will be 5-0 and ranked in the top 15. In 3 weeks Iowa St will be 4-0 and ranked.

Much better!

I like Michigan being ranked. They earned it with that win against ND.

Right now, I would say that South Car. and Okie state

are 3 TDs better than Nebraska right now. Hard not to think of Neb as a mid to upper teen squad currently.

Google's homepage celebrates too much shit.
