OMG: Starters Announced! - Jason Ankrah, Ciante Evans, Andrew Green
WTF is Bo Pelini doing? He's allowing starters to be announced?
WTF happened to competition!!!! Working your butt off until the last moment!!!!!!????
Okay, okay... calm down, calm down. (Not really. I've been released. Husker Mike is the voice of reason, not me.)
Okay, so..... here's the deal.
Jason Ankrah starts opposite Cameron Meredith and Ciante Evans and Andrew Green start at the corners given Alfonzo Dennard's injury.

My guess is he'll be out for the Fresno game, too
But that’s pure speculation.

It's all a big prank. Dennard will play against Chattanooga.

Yeah
I thought what I read on this hinted that he could probably go maybe even for Chattanooga but because hamstrings tend to be nagging injuries there’s no point in chancing a re-aggravation in a game we’d win anyway. Personally, I really don’t think we’ve got much risk of losing a game until Wisky.

No sleeping on Washington or Fresno State.
No repeats of our game against SDSU.

Fresno scares me more than Washington
I’m sure that’d get the folks over at the UW Dawg Pound pretty fired up, but I don’t think UW is athletically a ton better than Fresno and unlike Fresno, there’s pretty much no chance we overlook UW. If I had to guess our first three games, I could easily see:
UTC: 63-7
Fresno: 35-24
Washington: 42-7

Considering our two case studies from last season about what happens when Nebraska is unmotivated, I don't think Nebraska can afford to overlook anyone, even Akron.

Carl Pelini has gone rogue.

I heard
that Bo and Carl had a headbutting contest to decide whether or not they would announce these things. However, Carl won when Bo got distracted by a kung-fu fight between Godzilla and Steven Segal. Realizing this, Carl took full advantage of this distraction and headbutted Bo into the Sunny Acres retirement home bus causing it to fall off of a cliff.

The starting position opposite Meredith..
.was determined by who could stay conscious the longest while being held in a triangle choke by Bo. Ankrah lasted 37 seconds before the lights went out thus claiming th prize.

Wait, what about Eric Martin? Did I miss something?

Isn't he supposed to get time on the defensive line?
Just not as a starter.
