[Bumped Up... Because it is Bubba Starling Day]
What's it going to be, Bubba, Yes or No? I can't really seeing him turning down a multi-million dollar deal with the Royals and the opportunity to play one of his favorite sports very close to home. The signing bonus, be in $4 million, $7 million, or $10 million, only depends on what his agent can get out of the Royals (and increase his commission as well).
By signing with the Royals, he'll be guaranteed a certain part of his paycheck, play professional baseball for considerably longer that he would professional football (if he would make it that far) and the risk of injury is considerably less as well.
If he does show up in Lincoln, it will be only to drop off whatever practice gear he signed for a few weeks ago, and to thank Pelini for not making him practice the last couple of weeks.
Good luck in Kansas City, Bubba - we hardly knew ya!
