Via Twitter, Turner said Wednesday evening, "First day at WR an I did pretty good." Most of the folks in the know expected this at some point this year, but, um, maybe not quite this soon. He's been at practice for all of a week and a half.

Hopefully...

The new offensive scheme isn’t a death sentence for all but a few receivers. Who got the ball last season besides Niles Paul, Brandon Kinnie, and Kyler Reed? A few other guys…but not that often. This Jamaal Turner guy sounds too talented to let him have 2 catches for 5 yards this season.
