Granted, Nebraska is likely bound for the NIT Tournament...but consider this your open discussion thread for both the NIT and the NCAA selection announcements.
ESPNU will cover the selection announcements for the NIT Tournament, in which Nebraska is projected to land a #6 seed. The tournament runs side by side with the NCAA tourney, with first round games starting on Tuesday. Details of the NIT show are listed here, but the announcements will begin at 8pm CST. Look for Husker game-threads for each game that Nebraska survives, and possibly a NIT bracket contest? We'll see...
The NCAA Tournament will be covered here at CornNation beginning with tonight's selection show open thread. The show will start here within the hour on CBS. Tomorrow, I'll be posting an article on the final tournament field along with some insight on each #1 seed and their likelihood of winning it all. Always a fun topic, as the #1 seeds are historically not much better at making it to the promise-land than the #2 or #3 seeds. I'll take a stab at which paths the #1 seeds will be taking, and the ones with the best chance at slipping up early.
If you followed us here last season, you'll might remember the CN March Madness Challenge we held? We'll be shooting for that again this season, with a chance for one lucky CN member to win some Husker swag! That turned out to be a fun deal last year, so get on here and join up when you see the post. I'll post the information to log in with, and then you'll need to get on it and submit your picks right away. Remember, this season the games start on Tuesday....so that's 2 days fewer than normal for people to get situated.

We'll probably hold a few open threads during those frantic first rounds as well. (The best part of the tourney!) Having said that, I'll be taking a short "spring break" during this time, so someone will be jumping in to help me out on those. (Thanks Jon).
Let the games begin!!!
