but seeing Lawrence Phillips on that video provoked a visceral reaction for me. So many things he could have done with all he was given, and instead he’s left a trail of battered women and abuse toward almost everyone who tried to help him.

I felt slightly ashamed

when I saw that, not angry. Those stupid Colin Cowherd or whatever commercials on ESPN radio that mention Phillips daily kinda drained me of any anger after the 20th time listening to it
