Around SBN: Yankees Deny Rumors That Team Is For Sale

While reading this story, I had an interesting thought: Mild-mannered "nice guy" Tom Osborne may become the first Nebraska AD in at least 50 years to fire a football, baseball, and men's basketball coach during his tenure. Because if the "hardcore loyalists stop caring," a change will be required.

No offense

has plagued him his whole tenure. You have to play good defense I agree, but if you simply can’t score you can’t win in basketball. Because you are not going to hold everyone to 50 points in this league. He needs to find offense and needs it now or I am afraid his time is going to get short. But here’s a question who wants to job if they fire Doc? I like Doc he is a good coach but he needs to win and make the tourney this year or it is going to get tougher to keep him around. 20 wins doesn’t mean what it used to which is where he has hovered for most of his tenure.

Unfortunately

We’re not gonna get anywhere near 20 wins this year. After last night, 10 wins may be optimistic.
