Nebraska hoops tonight in Lincoln, as the Huskers get set for their first run in the annual Big Ten/ACC Challenge. The Challenge was devised in 1999, and is basically an ESPN creation that pits teams from each conference in a series of games early in the season. The "winning" conference is the one with the most wins after the two day ordeal. So basically..it's some form of bragging rights at stake. I guess. Not every team used to play in this challenge, but with the ACC and Big Ten expanding over the last few years, this year will be the first time that all teams will be able to participate. It'd be nice for Nebraska to get a win and show it's new conference that it can pull it's own weight. Come back tonight for your CornNation gamethread versus the Wake Forest Demon Deacons!
