Ndamukong Suh's Statement on Thanksgiving Day Incident
From Suh's Facebook page:
"In the past few hours, I have had time to reflect on yesterday’s game and I want to sincerely apologize for letting my teammates down, the organization, and especially to my fans who look to me for positive inspiration.
Playing professional sports is not a game. It is a profession with great responsibility, and where performance on and off the field should never be compromised. It requires a calm and determined demeanor, which cannot be derailed by the game, referee calls, fans or other players.
I want to reiterate my commitment to working to become a better player, and professional—on and off the field. My reaction on Thursday was unacceptable. I made a mistake, and have learned from it. I hope to direct the focus back to the task at hand — by winning."
However, former teammate Matt Slauson suggests Suh needs help over his temper. (H/T: Section 37)

that play
really really pissed me off. A LOT.
I kept rewinding it looking for some reason for his actions.
Being held down isn’t enough. If an offensive lineman gets you on the ground, he’s going to hold you. He’s going to lay on you, sit on you, whatever he can do to get an advantage.
The fact that Suh couldn’t handle that….. what an idiot. He needs to get his shit together

I'm extremely disappointed in Suh due to that play, but I'm very surprised and glad most fans are on the same page on this.
By fans, I mean Nebraska fans, not detroit fans. I was expecting more irrational defense of that play than is actually out there. Suh, in my eyes, is probably the best player in husker history and certainly the best player since I started paying attention, but he really needs to realize that that shit won’t fly. Not only was that play stupid, but it was also disrespectful to the sport, to the fans, and specifically to the player he did that to.
But hopefully this statement means he’s starting to realize something needs to change and he can continue to kick ass and re-earn the “benefit of the doubt” to back him as a non-dirty, just straight up aggresive player.
Yep thats a bad one
I love Suh, he’s a great player, he’s done alot for the University, but I’m not going to blindly defend his dumb decisions. I feel at times he gets a bum rap because of his reputation, but this play was both stupid and dirty. He needs to knock it off or some offensive lineman is going to chop block him and blow one of his knees.

Yep,what he did was stupid
and unforgiveable. He should be forced to sit a while to get his crap together. That being said, and this has nothing to do with his latest action,it seems that there is a smear campagne going on with suh. I mean,Slausen saying suh was out to “kill” the qb’s before? come on
