MEYER to OSU?? Florida TV station says it is so...
Some Florida station is reporting that Meyer has agreed (in principle) to go to OSU - 7-year contract & a few million dollars.
Read it here: Meyer to OSU - 7 years & $40 million
I would think that the imminent NCAA ruling on OSU's violations would play a role in Meyer's decision but maybe he doesn't think it will an issue. Perhaps OSU told him that their self-imposed penalties were enough to satisfy the NCAA, and all the NCAA will do is slap them around a bit.

But he said he wasn't?!
Also, he will not take this job until the NCAA makes a decision on the latest round of infractions for Ohio State.

Meyer's apparently denying it still.
Funny how OSU blog and OTE have it as a done deal. I would think he would wait as well until the NCAA announces their decision.
smoke screen?
Ohio State is pretty much in the free and clear to talk to anyone because of all the Meyer rumors.
talk about massive compensation, though. If he gets that, all the other salaries in the Big Ten will rise because OSU is desperate to buy a name coach.

He hasn't denied talking to OSU
He’s just denied being offered the job or accepting the job. He’s likely had conversations with OSU.
In the deed, the glory.

Imo he can do better
A big time job or two seems to open up every year. Heck, one more bad year and Mack Brown might get the boot at Texas. No need to go to a school that’s about to be crippled by sanctions.
