Today, Penn State, You Are My Enemy!

For the past several days we have stood by in shock and supported you.  Most, if not all, of us have put the football game between our beloved Huskers and your Nittany Lions on the back burner.  Justifiably so.

But today is Saturday.  A Fall Saturday.  That means football.  Football is one of those events that let us forget about the world around us for a few hours.  Something we can focus our energy on for an afternoon or evening.  Fans get a entire week to discuss, dissect and digest the upcoming game.  The build up is what makes the event so grand.  All the invested time finally has a chance for a pay off.

Thanks to the B1G powers a man-made "rivalry" was supposed to be born today.  I'm not gonna let that opportunity pass by without effort.  You are our designated "cross-division rival."  Thusly, you shall be treated like one today.  A hate-week was cancelled.  A pivotal conference game seemingly forgotten.  Not today.  Today I hope the Huskers crush your will and run roughshod through your stout defense.  I hope your offense continues to be scared of the end zone.  I hope Nebraska leaves State College the victor.  Leaving you only with your first conference loss.

Tomorrow we will once again stand by and support you.  But today you are my enemy!!  Go Big Red
