Around SBN: Why Hockey Fans Should Root For Devils Vs. Kings

IOWA VS MICHIGAN ST - which team is Jon going to cheer for?

Confession time, Jon!

Are you going to be cheering on Iowa this weekend against Sparty, going against all that anti-Iowa (Iowa St in the past) ranting & raving that we've all heard, OR are you going to cheering on Sparty?

You do realize that someone needs to beat Sparty for the Huskers to win the Corn division - so you could support Sparty this weekend, and hope that Northwestern knocks them off the last game of the season - that would be more dramatic, wouldn't it?

ALONG CAME A METEOR.

A Cornhusker through feast or famine. Get up, dust yourself off and run the ball. That's the Nebraska way.

Gotta cheer for Iowa

It’s probably our best shot at getting back control of our own destiny. MSU really doesn’t have much left on their schedule.

I for one will be cheering for Iowa

Unlike the rest of this conference, I have no problem cheering for other teams, even teams I hate, when it benefits me.

I want the Huskers to go to Indy. Iowa beating MSU helps that situation. So, go Hawkeyes.

If they win, we’ll still hate them on Black Friday. If they lose…we’ll hate them even more on Black Friday. :-D

Good to know! I figured you would.

Rod & Mark (Vreeland) and their boys are flying out to the game in Happy Valley – should be interesting to hear their take on things tomorrow, after (if) they return! :)

I may vomit all over my work clothes

But I am forced to cheer for Iowa – which means they’ll probably lose.

No one is joining me on #TeamMeteor?

The only team standing in the way after that is Michigan!
