- It got a little tense near the end of the interview when Pelini was asked a couple questions about Taylor Martinez.
Someone asked about players rallying around Martinez after “the media onslaught” surrounding the quarterback this week.
“That’s what teammates do,” Pelini said. “I don’t quite understand the media onslaught. That’s for you guys to answer.”
Another question was asked about Martinez.
“What, are you guys trying to get a reaction from him, is that what you guys are trying to do?” Pelini said. “I’m just wondering. You guys are asking me. Is this a deliberate thing? … Honestly, I don’t think Taylor or anybody else cares what you guys write or say, to be honest with you.”

But I get the feeling that as soon as they all sign their souls (6 year tv tiers) over, Texas will announce that the conference director is in their pocket and will put all of their scheduled games on the longhorn network and basically anything else they want to do. This may be old news
but did anyone see the pre-game and the fact that 2 of the 4 players (plus 1 more) that were supposed to start for osu were RE-suspended. Doesn’t that kind of make you wonder how much stuff was going on before they started being looked at?

Ohio State has kind of painted themselves into a corner. They blamed everything on Tressel so if they fire Gene Smith, their athletic director they’ve kind of exposed themselves to much bigger problems.

Oh, I'll watch my usual 9 hours or so
There’s just not much here to really get my blood pumping. Texas-OU normally would, but I’m not seeing much to indicate it’ll be a close game. The SEC slate is a snoozefest really thanks to Florida’s QB going down last week…Arkansas-Auburn probably the highlight there. Mizzou-Kansas St. is probably the best the Big 12 can offer for excitement. The B1G…Michigan-Northwestern IF Persa can go full-speed…if not…Iowa-Penn St.? (yawn).
It’s football, and this is good, but I’m just not getting a must-see vibe from anything other than Nebraska-Probation St.

about the equipment guys at UNL. In it, they talked about uni’s and how they repair or replace them. They go through quite a few jerseys, but so far this year, they’ve only had to replace one pair of pants. And guess who they belong to?
