i ran into
a couple Husker guys that played in that game years ago. We were talking just after a Nebraska – minnesota basketball game. Right next to Williams Arena is a little building that used to be a bar (I think they just turned it into a Wild Wings recently) and we met there….
they said they did just about everything they could to not score anymore and whatever they tried worked. they said they started making stuff up in the huddle, and they’d run a dive play that’d gain huge yardage. it was kind of funny… but, well, at the same time, not really.

But can anyway explain to me why the spread for the Indiana-Iowa game is 23.5?
I know Indiana got their butts whooped last week…but they are playing Iowa not Wisconsin.
Also I am eagerly awaiting the spread for the Minnesota-Wisconsin game. It could probably be 60 and Wisconsin would still cover lol.

On the spread – I have no idea. I think one thing we have to get used to joining this new conference – there seems to be streaks of wins or blow outs against opponents with no explanation.

Well
they did lose to North Texas and their only win is South Carolina St.

but they played Penn State pretty close

After years of the Big 8, then the Big XII, I was quite comfortable in knowing what to expect from year to year. Right now, I’m the proverbial fish out of water, and it ain’t comfortable.
