It's a bye week for Nebraska, but still an exciting time as we have a whole new set of rivalry games to be concerned about!
The early games include a big one between Michigan and Michigan State at 11:00 am on ESPN.
If you're new, in order to post, you need to create an account by clicking on the 'Sign Up" button at the upper left. All you need is an email address. Here's an explanation of how to use the web site, including how to use some Hot Keys to more easily navigate the comment system.

I think ASU has an excellent shot. The Pac has always been a cannibalistic conference.
Even during USC’s dominance of the 2000s, they always found a mind-boggling loss in their conference schedule.
Also, winning would be more salt in the wound for Arizona, and ASU never passes up an opportunity to one up on Arizona.

Just realized this..
Wisconsin racked up a nearly identical score vs UNLV 51-17 as vs NU 48-17. We did not score any more points than UNLV vs Wisconsin. Hows that for a downer? Next weeks game between Michigan St and Wisconsin will be the only shot I believe that they will lose a game this regular season. I am not sold on Illinois.

I'm not sure the flu will be sufficient to wipe this team out.
Rex Burkhead, sniffles and all, could probably beat Minnesota.

weird thing is
most of their run plays have been draw plays. No idea why Illinois’ linemen continue to rush up the field thinking it will be a pass. Pry close to half of all their plays have been draws.

It actually confirmed my suspicions going in
Namely, Michigan is a deeply flawed one dimensional team, Michigan State and Nebraska are flawed but better rounded teams. I think everyone knew Illinois was a paper tiger, but it does look like OSU is maybe picking up a little steam. Our offense certainly looks a little more impressive after today.

an Italian grandfather and a Lebanese grandmother (He’s 2nd generation American) so it’s kind of interesting trying to make things they way they did. Take a traditional Lebanese dish and add Italian seasonings. I’ve traced my ancestry back 10 generations at got to Illinois. I think we came over on the Mayflower.

Well, let's be fair to my generation.
I don’t fit in. I willingly went to graduate school for a PhD in microbiology (read: no one wants to hear about what I’m studying and I’ll never make very much money), I won’t drink more than a beer or two, and I don’t chase women.
So I’m a poor judge of the depravity of my generation.

Okay, quick internet search suggests that the Duck does not have an official name.
It was originally Donald Duck but then UO and Disney came to some sort of marketing agreement that let UO keep the likeness without the name, or something like that.
